It is only with help from Dr Ian Baxter that I am able to see a future ahead of me that includes amazing adventures such as scuba diving and marine studies on research vessels.
I have lost 40kg so far thanks to the stomach banding surgery that Dr Baxter performed on me, and am hopeful of losing another 30kg. My outlook on life has changed so dramatically that I am going to university as a mature age student, something I have always wanted to do but never had the confidence for.
My continued visits to Dr Gordon Bland at the Sunshine Coast Weight Loss Clinic, run in affiliation with Dr Baxter's offices, help to keep me on track and focused, even if I put weight back on. The medical expertise from Dr Bland and the staff help to put my weight problems into perspective and guide me along my path to better health.
